Hi,

I have just added a few new profile definitions to my portals user profile definitions and have found a few abnormalities.

1) there is now a true/false radio button to select true or false rather than the old checkbox. Is this for real? seem very cold to the touch when you have a field like "agree to site terms" OTrue OFalse
Is there anyway to change back to the checkbox?

2)Though I have saved the propertyname in ja-JP local, when viewed, the name appears in English as it was saved in the original definition setting, not as it was saved in the en-US local. for example the original property name is DailyNews. ja-JP local is "サイトNEWS" and the en-US local is "Daliy News". When the profile page is viewed it appreas as DailyNew <with no space

Please advise

Thank you

Mark Hollas

Just a follow up.

If someone could tell me where in the resource files the true and false strings are that would be great..been searching for the last hour or two..

Cheers

I've got the same issue.  Any assistance on how to get the checkbox back?

The issue seems to be that in 5.1.2, the TrueFalse datatype in the Host Menu -> Lists > DataType List, is configured to use TrueFalseEditControl instead of the CheckEditControl.  I ended up leaving the True/False alone configuration alone and adding a new list item, "DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.CheckEditControl, DotNetNuke", "CheckBox".
