Hello,

Was looking for some help or ideas on what might be going on when I enabled Captcha on our DNN site.  I am running DNN 4.9.5.  We enabled captcha to use on the registration page and a 3rd party form page. When we are logged onto DNN on the form page, we see a Captcha image in Edit or View modes.  When we log off DNN and go to the Registration page or the form page the image is no longer available! We get the Red X, I guess not being able to render the image from the URL. When we go to the DNN registration page, the captcha image is not available. It appears that Captcha is not working for DNN with the Registration page and our form page.  Any ideas on what might be going on or where we might need to look, please let me know. Thanks Mark

please revalidate file system permissions for guest user, it should have read access to the (virtual) path of the image.

Thank you for the response.  I have DNN on a hosted server and checked the File permissions in their Control Panel for the path:

http://www.Domain.com/DesktopModules/Easyform

the Anonymous user, (Guest) has Change permissions (which includes Read access) on the DesktopModules/Easyform directory.

Here is the image URL. So if the permissions appear to be correct, what else should I review.  If this is not correct, please let me know.

Finally found out this strange issue.  I have a 3rd party .DLL, Email PHD.EmailCloaker, now called: PHD.SpamStopper, that was interfering with the captcha.  Have had an old version of this for a while and updated it and the issue has been corrected. Thanks, Mark
