When I send a Bulk Email in DNN 05.01.02 (51) the email that is sent contains a html tag at the beginning of the html code, which directs all links to the primary domain. The html tag is <Base Href='domainname.com'>. The html tag prevents the hyperlinks in the bulk email from working properly by causing all hyperlinks to start with the domain name, e.g. "http:\\www.domainname.com\." I want the hyperlinks in the bulk email to send the user to different locations of the email, not to my DNN website. How can I tell DNN to not to insert this html tag?

this require a change in newsletter module and may affect images linked in as well.

Thank you for your response. I would rather have the "<Base Href='domainname.com'> " disabled and to hard code the links to images. How do I go about changing the module to disable the html tag?

you need to alter code behind in website/desktopmodules/admin/newsletter/bulkmail.ascx.vb

Based on your recent response, I have the impression that I will need to know how to program in Visual Basic. Does this mean I will need Visual Studio 2008 to accomplish what I want to do?
