I have many pages in my site that are visible only to registered site users.  In my monthly newsletter I want to include links to some of these protected pages. When I click on such a link, I'm redirected to the logon page but after I log in I'm not taken to the page that I was originally going to.  I've tried everything to make this work. I can see the "returnurl"parameter in the address bar but it doesn't seem to have any effect.  Am I missing something? Will DNN even do what I'm asking it to do?

Did you setup anything as a redirect after login page within the user settings "Admin -> User Accounts"?

Yes, there is a redirection to a special "home page". Is that going to override the returnURL setting?

Follow-up :: If the User Logon Redirection is removed (ADMIN, USER ACCOUNTS, USER SETTINGS), then the returnURL parameter is honored.  I guess that I would have preferred that the returnURL parameter override the users settings, but I can see how that might be a security concern.
