This module enables you to display the search keywords from Google Analytic using Google Analytic Data API. Just place the module on the page and it will start showing the keywords for that page.

So for example if someone searches "free dnn stuff", then comes to your site, Google Analytics registers that keyword, then the module queries the Google Analytis data API, gets the list of all keywords and displays it on your site.

Value of this module is that is constantly retrives new keywords thus adding new and relevant content for the page which in turn add to SEO value of your site.

AND IT'S FREE which is rare for DNN related stuff.

REQUIREMENTS
- Your site has to have Google Analytic tracking
- You have to know the Google Account user/pass for the tracking

Hi Fedja,

Interesting module - just to play devil's advocate - if you display a list of keywords like this on a page - do you not think that Google will disapprove of it as it is effectively targetted keyword-stuffing?

I always think that Google frowns upon things that the user wont like, and the list of keywords does not help the user at all, only for SEO. I would be a little cautious about this approach to improve SEO (although I really am no expert, just going on what I have read and gut feel) - what do you think?

The sad thing is that when DNN first started there were a lot of great free module (several of the current Core module started out as free modules that were offered directly by the developer and later was added as "Core"), but as time progressed and the community grow and became less intimate this was lost to a large degree....    It is good to see the spirit is still alive in you and others.  Matter of fact, your post and my reminiscing has inspired me to follow you with a couple of our (BGI's) module.  I will post them and place a link in another post below in a few.

You ROCK!  Keep up the good spirit!

Always surprises me when people start saying things like "there aren't many free things anymore."  Not that Robert said that directly, but hinted toward a lack of FREE stuff in the DNN community at large.

Maybe you're not looking in the right places, or don't know the right people, but in my DNN world there is a ton of free stuff.

First, all the stuff that comes with DNN out of the box.  CE and all is FREE to the end user.  AMAZING!  Blog, Forums, HTML, Repository, the framework itself, FAQ, wiki, contacts, Links, Feedback, Newsfeed, form and List, Survey, Iframe, Gallery, Events... PHEW, and all free.

Some of the best free modules out there:

Anything by Mitchel Sellers (Iowa Computer Gurus)
iFority (spelling?) contacts, etc.
Smart Thinker social stuff
Mark Allen's menu at dnndoneright
Stuff by Oliver Hine
Stuff by Brandon Haynes
Stuff by Coding Staff
Stuff by Will Strohl

And stuff by probably dozens of others that I'm leaving off.

So, I know you weren't "complaining," but even a hint of someone saying there isn't enough free stuff out there just gets my juices boiling.  There are literally hundreds of free modules out there these days, you just have to make an effort to find them.

The DNN forge is the place where the "Free Stuff" is organized. this is important because all these modules come with source code. ALWAYS get source code for modules. No exceptions. Too many people over the years get "stuck" when there is a DNN upgrade and a module needs to be updated but they can't because they don't have the source code.

My advise is NEVER use a free module (or any module) that does not provide the source code (it is fine if it cost extra).

Anyway the DNN Forge modules are Free WITH source code:
