I'm trying to completly clear out all my users (except for admin and host of course) from my donnetnuke site.  I have created a lot of junk users and I also want to test an import tool.   Sine I understand there are changes to dnn 5 and there is now the concept of the "soft delete" and I know that this can cause some problems.  ie if I delete a user and then try to use the same login again, profile information shows for the original user not the new one I'm entering.

So I'm writing some queries to delete all the users in SQL.   All the tables make sense to me except the dbo.profile table.  This table does not seem to get an entry for every user but I can't determine what cause an entry to this table.  I'd like to understand it before I go deleteing records here.

Thanks

Deb

You want to clear entries from the UserProfile table as that is where the individual user records are stored.

I'm sure you already know about this, but BE SURE to be careful when doing this, and don't forget to hit all of the necessary tables

aspnet_Membership
aspnet_users
users
UserPortals
UserRoles
UserProfile

At a minimum these are the tables you need to be aware of.
