In 5.2 a new function was announced.

Added ability to view and edit the source files for a module.

I tryed this and I can see the file but just the first part and I can not edit. Furthermore I get just one of the files. Is this a bug or is it just my two insallations that has this behavior? Or do I miss some seqret hidden function?

Hope you can find the css files to there too.

Is this a bug or just me ??

Under Host/Module Definitions/View Source I can see:
User Control
Code File
Resource File

I'd need to clarify if there are any other files we should be seeing.

I can edit any of these files these without issues in IE and Firefox.

File permissions issue going on perhaps?

I'm using the source version of DNN 5.2.0 full release.

Thanks...

Alex Shirley

OK I found the hidden seqret!!

If I press the help icon I can read:

You can view the module control's source in the text box below. If you are running on a local machine then you can also edit and modify the source.

(Maybe a it should change to ..... You can view a part of....)

Ok have to try that too...For once the tooltip was important!
