My question is related to commercial modules installed on test and development servers which are not accessed via localhost.   Do any of you take this into consideration, and woud you make adjustments to your licensing to allow for multiple server installs which are not using localhost for test purposes?

We have a small DNN intranet presence and starting with our upgrade to DNN 5.2.2 we will start using a separate test server in our datacenter to do QA and regression testing for all module installs and for some small development.  We have quite a few commercial modules and the licensing is different for most.
Thanks.

This is going to vary by module vendor, but in general I would say most are not going to like that option.

If you are not using localhost, there is nothing to the vendor that guarantees that this is a "test" environment.  Due to intranet sites, that are often accessed by name rather than a URL and similar items.
