Hi,

As I write this I am using the Basic Text Box Editor. The reason for this is because the FCK Editor used for editing throughout the site has frustrated me and given me nightmares. I have developed a number of sites now and have constantly got users asking and complaining why the editor loses their format or does not produce the results they require....
It contains a lot of bugs and glitches .... When I try formatting or adding pages formatted using it, well, basically WYSIWYG does not work. What I wanted to know is if there is an alternative to this editor that can be intergrated with DNN?Please help?

Hi Donny

Telerik make an editor http://dnn.telerik.com/ and so do CuteSoft http://cutesoft.net/  Both cost money.

IME: New users to any html editor need some tuition / support.  I would be interested in what problems your people have as all my admins are getting on well with FCK especially in its most recent DNN version.  I think it pretty good these days.

I personally find FCK to be very stable - a lot of my users are familiar with it and it's a very common informal standard. In fact, a site that reviewed my blogging system on PokerDIY (Ventrian News Articles) - awarded me points for using FCK.

There is a newer version (CK I think) - I saw a thread on it somewhere on this forum...
