We are wanting to turn software we developed into open source.  We want the downloader to agree to a BSD type EULA.  Does anyone know of a file download module that would make this happen for us without jumping through hoops?

The infrastructure at Codeplex was built for exactly this purpose.  However, requiring acceptance of a EULA at download is not required (it is merely a nicety).  Simply including the text of the license in all of the files is sufficient (just as DNN does).  I'm sure someone will have a module to suggest for you, but I wanted you to know that it is not necessary for the purpose you have described.

Checkout social.codeplex.com. The IndexItem module will do this. You can see an example of logging into http://www.systemcentercentral.com/Downloads.aspx You will also need the WebControls, WebServices, and SearchDirectory module that works with IndexItem. There is a module setting to enable EULA and a place to add your license.
