Hello,

I receive an error on a DNN 4.9 Page of my portal on all modules when i try to do something through Settings.

The error says:

A critical error has occurred.
Page cannot be null. Please ensure that this operation is being performed in the context of an ASP.NET request.

I have only standard DNN modules - FAQ, Feedback, Text/HTML, Forum module on that page. I googled the error and get the point that AJAX rendering is causing the error. How exactly I should remove AJAX functionality and where (which module)? I think that FAQ module is making the troubles but i'm not sure. I cannot move, delete, edit any module because it gives the same  error again and again. The modules are visualizing OK but I need to remove some modules.

Best Regards,

Dimitar Ivanov

I found the place to disable AJAX and my page is not function properly. It's in Host Settings -> Other Settings.

Can you tell (guess) me which moodule caused the error, why and is there a solution other than disabling AJAX? I read about this problem only for third party custom modules.

Best Regards,

Dimitar Ivanov
