My client says........... When a website is saved as a favorite or bookmark a link name is saved in the browser, currently it says “Home”. I would like that changed to “Mail Handling Group”.  Please advise.

You will need to change the "page title" of the page.

  1. Login to the site as 'host' or 'admin'
  2. Browse to the page that you are talking about (Home)
  3. Click on the "Settings" icon in the control panel (up the top of your screen)
  4. Change the page title from "Home" to "Mail Handling Group"
  5. Click on the "Update" link at the bottom of the page to save your changes

I follwed this direction, but when I do so, the full name "Mail Handling Group" apears on my  menu instead of just the work "Home".  Is there some kind of work around for this?

OK.......... I got it figured out.  In settings/advanced settings/Page header tags, I entered the follwing code.......... (not exact so it will show up in the forum)

<style type "text/css" >
<!--
< title>Mail Handling Group< /title>
-->
</style >

Then I took out the word Home for the page title setting at the top.  Now the browser bookmard says.......... Mail Handling Group>Home......... which is fine.

Marion,

Set the page NAME to "Home" and the page TITLE to the desired text.
