I've just completed a backup and download of my on-line site to alocalhost site and everything seemd OK at first except that I ntoce that images aren't appearing.  The files are in the correct local folder [Portals/0] and the image links in the modules are correct. In fact, if I go to imgae properties, browse for the file and refreshi ti, the image appears OK.  It's as though none of the image links have been refreshed or connected.  I'm puzzled and would hate to have to go through and 'reset' all image propertied manually.

Would appreciate any thoughts.  Did I miss something?   It's a v5 site (Community) hosted by PowerDNN.

Thanks

you need to make sure, local relative path is same as on the server, i.e. if you install web site locally in a virtual directory, there will be an additional folder level added and the images fail to load. Use a local web site instead (Windows Vista and Win 7 support multiple websites out of the box; you need to create a localhost alias in /windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts file using a text editor and bind web site to it. For WinXP pro, there is free XP pro IIS Admin from www.jetstat.com/iisadmin).
