I am new to DNN and .NET in general. My background is in iSeries programming. I have used a number of CASE tools and code generators on that platform. It appears that many of the DNN/.NET concepts are extensions of CASE methodologies.

One thing I am quite surprised at is the lack of simple reporting tools in the core. How does one, without having to dive into the database specifications, produce a simple PRINTED list of users? Or dump the same kind of list to spreadsheet format?

Thanks for any input.

The only way to do this currently is to go to the User Accounts page and click the print icon in the container for a printer-friendly version. Definitely not what you're looking for, but the closest thing. Sorry.

There are always third party modules that can support this. I'd look around. You might be surprised what you find. If you truly believe this is something that belongs in teh core, submit a new issue (actually, check first to make sure it isn't already listed - if it is, comment on that bug).
