This is aggravating as all hell:

EVERY time I try to use Visual Web Developer 2008 (Express Edition) it crashes, popping a box stating, 'Microsoft WD has encountered a problem and needs to shut down."

W...T...F!?!??

I could understand if it were every so often, but Every time?! C'Mon!

Can ANYBODY help me out, with this? 

I recently had a bizarre issue with my .Net stuff and uninstalled it and, when I RE-(re-re-re-)downloaded Community Edition, it pulled all of the necessary companion program files, including the errant WD '08.Ex

Does this have anything to do with DNN?  Is there a reason you didn't ask in a VWD forum?

Like Jeff mentioned, I'd check on the VWD forums for help. For starters you could do a reinstall of your .net framework and VWD. I'm sure your "bizarre issue with my .Net stuff" is the source of the problem and a re-install of it all "should" help. But your best bet is checking on the VWD forums for help on getting VWD to launch.

Random, heavily delayed update... Bizarre enough that '08 crashed like the shores of Bermuda during a hurricane, but '10 runs like the morning after spending the weekend in Tijuana. Strange.... Veddy, veddy strange.
