Hi,
I've installed on my Firefox the Page Speed plugin (you can find it here: http://code.google.com/intl/it-IT/spe...)
It is a Plugin advised by google and it can help to explain critical website parts about the loading speed.

I've try this test with official dotnetnuke website (www.dotnetnuke.com) and with my surprise the results are critical with various sections marked in red.
Considering that Google has also begun to assess the loading speed for its feedback indexing, it could  become a big penality for DNN framework!
I'd like to know what do you think about this the Dotnetnuke staff,

Scippy, read in the tool does not mean "critical" but those are the areas with most effect. However, those tools are nice to analyse single static web pages, but do not really take into account CMS situation, which e.g. might cache smaller files across pages or e.g. CSS files may contain styles, which are used on specific pages only. There is still room for improvement with DNN, e.g. downloading MS AJAX from Microsoft CDN, minimize CSS and JS etc, but the problem for the developers is, there is so much to do...

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
