Please help me. Here is the error I get.

It sounds like you've tried to apply an invalid portal template to the new site.  Are you using a custom one, or have you changed the default one?  If not, try replacing the portal template files in the ~/Portals/_default/ folder from a freshly downloaded site install package.  Yours might have gotten corrupted somehow.

I am not using custom template. I have not changed the default one. 

Also, I just replaced the _default folder with _default folder from freshly downloaded Install package and I still get the error.
