hi there,

When I change the prefered local in user profile settings e.g. the language... it sends an email to the user.
I've seen in User accounts you have there a check option to send or not... But in User profile settings like changing the langue favorite it sends an email to the user....

is there a way to avoid sending email when the user profile is changed?

AFAIK there is no option to suppress the message being sent.

unless you block the mail server, yes.
