I was wondering if there's anyone on the core team who could share a little bit about the load and setup (hardware, network, etc) that DotNetNuke.com uses.  I've got a site I'm running that is getting a sustained 150 page views per minute and I'd like to know what kind of hardware I should upgrade the site to.  Right now it is a dual 3.0ghz hyperthreaded XEON with 4gig RAM.  SQL server and IIS are on the same box.

Does a 4proc XEON sound good with 8gig ram, should I move the SQL to another box, or both?

Hi,

I recently worked onwww.nrl.com which does abot 17 million pags a month with peak loads around 300000 pages an hour

The setup is web farm of 6 Dual Xeos with 4Gig each, clustered File servers of Dul Xeon with 4 Gig each, and clustered SQL 2005 on Dua Xeon with 4 Gig each.  This is a lot more than yo require but it does show that DNN will cale pretty well to whatever you need.

Why do you need to cahnge your current setup?  What sort of CPU and Memory usage are you getting?

That was a really big project Phil. But that site took quite a bit of time to develop.. Did you have much involvement in the specs on the machine or were you mainly  involved in the development of it.   I think getting the specs on the machine would have been a huge task just to get right.
