Hi all,

I have a selection of FLV files I want to put on my site DNN 5.5.1. I want the user to be given a set of pics that are links to FLV files. I want those FLV files to be loaded in to the same player on the page. If it's possible I would like something like the the following: Exapmle site

If you look half way down the page you will see the flv player and a selection of flv files to load in to it. I have looked at the media module but this only seems to be able to play 1 file at a time, I think the HTML module will allow this but I am not sure how to implement it.

Looking forward to any and all replies.

I have found the following page to be of great use: Adammer's Blog This has got a FLV file playing on my site. However it only plays one file. I need the user to be able to select the video he/she wants to view. I think I may need to assign each flv link and ID and then pass that ID into the player? Please can anyone help me.

I have now resolved this issue. I have created an HTML file for each FLV video and then created an iFrame on the page. THis allows me to load each html file to the ifram thus giving the final vision i wanted.

I hope this is of some use to someone else.

The FLV files are working very well, however there is something this does not do. When the video is paused it deos not stream the content in ahead of itself. Does anyone know if there is a way to get this to stream in ahead? or will I have to look at a module for FLV files?

Thanks

Creating a separate html file for each video is not feasible while you are with 110% dynamic platform like DNN . . . Instead you can create your own module with the help of third party FLV player. There are number of commercial as well as free FLV player is available on net. You can googling for the same. . . :)
