I think you may have misread my earlier posts. I did not install DNN at my GoDaddy shared hosting. Please note above that I used GoDaddy's auto install of DNN 4. In other words, I pressed the "Install DotNetNuke" button on my shared hosting setup.

GoDaddy installs DNN in a virtual directory. You can use GoDaddy's auto install of DNN into this virtual directory, and then redirect users to www.meandmysite.com to the appropriate 'front page' of the DNN installation.

There are three methods to perform this redirection:
1) The method you described above from APROTOCALL.

2) A 301 redirect method described at my site by LoDVD here:

Regarding installing DNN by oneself at GoDaddy, I chose not to do this because it's a real hassle. There have been instructions out there for a long time on how to accomplish this, but it wasn't worth my time. I simply let GoDaddy do all the work, and redirect the URL.
