Hi

When going to either deleting, modules or changing their settings by hovering over the down arrow. All it does is hang with a annoying circle spinning around? Any solution? Running 5.6.1

Are you running your site locally hosted or is it on a 3rd prty hosting companys servers? If it's on a 3rd party servers then you will have to wait. I find that when the hosting company servers my site is hosted on is having issues then I get the same problem. It does eventually load the menu in but can take a while.

THe issue most likely not with DNN but with your hosting company.

1. Login as host user.
2. Navigate to Host --> Host Settings
3. Open the section Advanced Settings then Performance Settings
4. Find the setting "Compression Setting" and change the drop-down list to "No Compression"
5. Click Update at the bottom of the Host Settings page.

This is a known issue in DNN 5.6.1 which affects many client-side features and in particular the module action menus.

wonder how that one snuck through... thanks for the tip. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next release.
