Hi all,

My designer informed me today that he could not use the DNN Logo on our new Palasites.com site as he could not access the page
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/Licen...
the link to this was on the Partner FAQ section of the site.

We want to show that our new DIY Service we are about to launch is Dotnetnuke and we are only charging the client for the hosting and email and maintenance not the portal on the system.

Dotnetnuke has allowed me to create some amazing sites over the past 4/5 years and this is my way of giving something back in my own way.

I will be bringing other offerings in the next few months including Really cheap hosting for a single DNN instance and a tutorials site for the average joe to use DNN as I keep being told by people that there is not an easy guide out there for the person with no technical knowledge.

Anyway I diversify can you point me to the guide so that I may give it to my designer or send me the info on how we are allowed to use the DNN logo.

Many Thanks
Paul

I believe this is the original page (it was moved under the intro section) - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/776/default.aspx . If you can let me know where you found the incorrect link I'll make sure it gets fixed. Thank you for your efforts in giving us credit back, we're more than happy for people to use our work without accreditation but appreciate any that we do get.

Yes the dead link is on this page http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Partners/FAQ/tabid/1344/Default.aspx and we here at Palatineweb.com are always happy to give credit where credit is due and DNN deserves all the credit we give it it is a great system. Also is there some way we can get more involved. I have been asking this for the past few years and never really been given much information. We are happy to test, host or even check code online

Thanks. Theres lots of ways to contribute (in fact we've started to measure some for our community recognition program - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/C... ) . This proram is still been expanded, and in future will add other areas such as testing, code contributions etc. For now, if you're interested in testing we run regular betas e.g. 5.6.2 beta can be found at http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releas... and beta related issues have a dedicated forum at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F...

We also welcome any bug reports/enhancements at support.dotnetnuke.com - in particular if you fixes for items raise a ticket and check the 'includes codefix' checkbox, so we can expedite including those into the core.

We're also working on helping surface what areas people can get involved in, so anyone can contribute easily, helping the health of the project and gaining some kudos/reputation for themselves - these will be rolled out over the next months.
Thanks,
Cathal
