Hi i would like your opinions and strategies on how to project manage a DNN project.
Lets say you have a client who wants a job recruitment website.

From my understanding of bespoke spoftware development you are supposed to provide the client with a quote and then understand the requirements, analysis of the need and then added value that the DNN project will give to the customer?

Then designs are to take place, skinning and development with purchased or bespoke modules.

What about a testing phase? and UAT?

Does a project need to have content before or after the creation of the site?
What sort of methodology would you use?

Would you create a development freeze and explain to the client of the different iterations? Would a more Agile method work with prototyping?

The team consists of 1 "manager" 1 designer and 2 developers, with a 'senior' developer busy with other projects.

Are there specific documents that would be used 'spec' requirements?

Thanks

You questions is more about project management in general. It does not matter if you if you are using DNN or some other CMS, your approach to managing project and delivery to client is going to be governed a lot by your client.
I am not sure how you can provide a quote to client if you do not know the requirement and scope of the project. You will always start with some preliminary requirements from client and then come up with estimates on effort involved and cost related to that effort.
A approach that works great for me is an agile approach. I divide the whole deliverable into different phases (Sprints). First sprint is bare minimum a client needs to go live. And then add features with quick update sprints.
Do you have some specific questions about how to manage project for DNN?
