Hello,

In menu item, let's say my Home page is open so CSS for active link is set to that HOME page link.
Till this all works fine.

I want this active link disable means no one can click on this link as user is already on this page.

I tried a lot by javascript and jquery by "return false;", "void(0);", "#" and many more but nothing work.
In normal link this all option is working but as this is rendered from DNN, I don't know what's wrong.

How can I do that?
Any help will be appriciated a lot.

My first reaction is to let them click on the menu item.  It seems a perfectly reasonable way to let them refresh the page.

If you really want to stop them then I suggest you modify the menu so that it is NOT rendered as a link.  You didn't say what menu you are using.  In DDR menu you would have to modify the XSLT transform that creates the menu item so that it does not render the link.

Any solution using javascript/jquery will not work if you user has js turned off.

Best wishes,

First of all thank for reply.
As this is clients requirement it has to work like disable link.

Now as I have not much experience in DNN so I don't know what is DDR menu. Right now by default menu is rendered as
    and
  • combination. So I am using simple CSS Menu style. So I don't know how to modify XSLT as I don't have that file.

So can you please suggest me alternative?

    Thanx.

First of all thanx for reply.

As this is client requirement to disable currently active link I have to implement this.

Now as I don't have much experience in DNN, I don't know what is DDR menu and my application don't have XSLT file. Right my menu's html is rendered as <ul> and <li> tag. So I think it's simple CSS Menu.

Right now I am setting active link's css by coding. So if I can disable that link by coding in c# then it will help a lot, if it is right way.
So can you please suggest me any alternative?
