Hi, I'm using DNN 6.0 and the Firefox v6.0.2 browser (although the same issue is visible in older versions as well).
My problem is that solpart drop down menu is getting covered by page content. I've set z-index to be 9999 and wmode on all flash files to transparent and non of this helped. As long as the page is loading menu is working correctly, but as soon as page is loaded completly it's getting covered by the page contetnt. You can check it yourself on this web site http://www.magneticnorth.com
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi - did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have experienced and continue to experience this problem with Firefox 6 & 7. No problem with Chrome or IE. I'm surprised there isn't a fix posted here. It's a major problem that essentially renders the main menu useless. Please post back if you found a fix or workaround. thanks - FM

I think the SOLPART menu was superseded long ago.

So the fix/workaround is to upgrade to a more modern menu.  The DDR menu now in use in the DNN 6 default skin is a very nice piece of work and a huge improvement.

I recall running into this issue with one of thie skins from the first DotNetNuke skinning contest. Following the instructions in this DNN Wiki entry:

I simply "upgraded" the skin to use the DDR Menu's Solpart replacement. Problem resolved.
