Hi all,

I need some basic functions to allow few users (<100) to login into DNN and download a list of documents specifically prepared to individual users only.

Is there any solution / module for this?

I don't want something like the current DNN document management or anything similar to FTP kinda of view where the user are able to view other folders (the name) as well.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks!

Thanks,
George

beyond the core document library the next obvious options are DMX or the document library that ships with DotNetNuke PE/EE, but they're both very powerful solutions so may be overkill for what you need so it's probably worth checking out the options at http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=295&search=document

George,

I'm sure you may have already looked at Ventrian File links, but just in case:

Honestly, I haven't used it, just Scotts other modules.

Thanks, I will look into DMX. For DNN PE's document library, it does not meet the requirement of mine. I agree there are overkill but the most important thing is that they do not create a page for each of the clients / users.

What I need is more like ERP or eCommerce kind of view where a user will have his own page to download a list of files while in admin, there is a page to manage all the users' file.

Like eCommerce, there is a page for user to download all invoices and check the payment status.

I'm a loyal subscriber of Scott's product. I've been using File Links in several sites but it does not filter files by users. It's just a FTP kinda module.

Thanks,
George
