Something that has been on my wishlist for a long time is having a task-bar icon appear when a specific portal or application runs.
I did see some OnyakTech module that was for sale, but wouldn't it be awesome if it could easily be incorporated into the framework?

It could inform users of their state and session time-out, update users about status of their downloads and inform them of security status' etc. It could also provide links to outside help or tutorials when clicking specific links, the possibilities are endless.

This would definitely add to interactivity, non intrusive info & event notifications, responsiveness and better gui design and RIA support and functionality.

I've tried to implement myself a while ago but I'm unsure how to properly port code over to framework properly?
Any suggestions would be great?
