After getting people to pay for the product..   the support is still very below par.

Unfortunately, I had a site that needed a few upgrades.   Well, no surprise but there were a few issues..  so far I'm on 8 hours of my own time resolving them.

Here is a perfect example of no support.   The issue gets logged as requested yet over 3 months go by with no comments.   This isn't the only one ...  there are many examples.   Look at the priority/severity of the issue too.   It breaks the upgrade!!  The site doesn't work!!   I would think this would get some attention but like many threads with issues (even logged), you might get a reply with a team member and then it goes silent.

As Lars kindly pointed out if you're a PE/EE customer you have unlimited support - please raise your issue(s) through the support desk (the details will be in your subscription email - or you can go directly to the helpdesk at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/S... )

As for the number of issues, we have been doing a lot of work recently in this area - Scott blogged a little about this @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B... . There are also a number of additional resources being added to triage and resolve bugs so I expect this to improve more so in the new year.

One thing to note, is that the majority of QA staff do not spend significant time in the forums - gemini is where they spend their time, so discussing an item in a forum thread is insufficent, it still needs to be logged as a gemini item - looking at the thread you referenced I see that one of the participants did create a gemini item @ http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V... , and that a QA resource has been detailed to look into this (since 12/13)

To quantify the bug situation a little, we have ~600 open bugs at present, with ~60 of these scheduled to be fixed in the next release alone (I would expect the final number of fixes to be higher than that also)

Thanks.
