Hi - I have looked on Snowcovered at the modules - Is there a module that anyone knows of that allows for redirection of User Login dependent upon role.

I did look through as many of the ones I could find on Snowcovered but they did not fit the bill due to some other elements of the module that I didn't like.

I like the idea of the home page redirection, that's cool - I do not believe this is required for this project, but I will keep that in mind.

We have three roles assigned for each 'client group'.

Pre Sales, After Sales VIP & After Sales Platinum.

This is because the company does the presentation, the offering is accepted, we import their users in, and they are emailed through email marketing software, their password and login we have generated upon import. There are two subscription models - VIP & Platinum, which they see as Pre Sales, but upon purchasing either VIP or Platinum, they will be removed from the Pre Sales role and not see the 'selling material' but in reality when they log into the site, they all need to go to a page only they can see, with their logo on it.

Currently we're using the jquery drop down login control a few developers are selling, but I think we may have to forgo that one, so that we can get this more important login page working.

At this stage, there are only a few roles, but with this being successful, I believe they will getting maybe 10 - 15 companies on board in the next 12 months, leaving me around 36 roles to cater for in the next 12 months.

Does that make sense with how I am describing the scenario.

Eileen - thanks for your post - I will keep you in mind.  Ideally if someone had a module already developed - it would save a fair bit of time.
