It is not clear to me what you are trying to do nor why you are trying to do it.

I think you need a lot more detail and background.

You could use this module to accomplish this:

or if you are trying to use a specific jQuery script that you already have, then use something like firebug to find the id of that module and use that for your jQuery selector.
