Is this the first attempt to login following a new install of DotNetNuke or did you recently upgrade from an earlier version of DotNetNuke?

Are you able to login as a different user?

Please post DotNetNuke version and if this was an upgrade the version from which you upgraded.

If this was a new install or upgrade were any errors noted during the upgrade?

please make sure to use same .net framework version for your IIS application pool on both servers, if you are transferring the DNN website from public web server to IIS on your local machine.
