Greetings,

Would you consider DNN a content managment system? Does it support some kind of versioning?

I used DNN 1 and 2 a while ago for some web sites where we had only 1 or 2 people updating it. I programmed some custom modules that we used in house and published a couple that were popular in the community.

In a new position/company I am looking to enable several non-computer people to update the company's website. Some kind of versioning system, documenting who made what change would be great.

Does DNN support this?

DNN on it's own does not support this but third party modules should asssist you.

On the site here - there is the directory for third party modules - I remember reading something that has specific version control and rollbacks, but the simplest method I've found is using an articles modules - that allows items to be submitted and approved.. is that the sort of thing you're looking for?

The one thing I believe DotNetNuke has, when setup for clients is the ability to easily modify without requiring too many skills, therefore the support is substantially les.

I am pretty sure I've seen what your'e looking for but the name eludes me now or I'd put it in here for you.

DNN Masters actually has an article module that tracks revisions.  It's called Content Builder...  I have not used it, so I don't know much about it but I think it's what you are looking for.   Click here for more details on it.
