Hi,

I am a novice at dotnetnuke and am supporting a site which has a homegrown general ledger which interfaces with dotnetnuke.

I am supporting it as a favour, at less than "mates rates" because my friend's company was left with no support.   Therefore I am madly trying to figure things out.

Could you please tell me where I can find the error logs if there is an error such as the following:

"An error has occurred, please contact your system administrator if the problem persists. Please quote ErrorLogID=3320455"

I cannot find anything in the code that remotely resembles this so assume it is a system generated error message.

Thanking you in advance for your help.

im afriad that doesnt look like an error from DotNetNuke - whilst the first part is similar to text we use, we do not output anything that states "please quote errorlogid=..." - and our eventlog (which you can view under admin->event viewer) does not have an errorlogid field. I would suggest its an error with a 3rd party module.
