Hi everyone, My site on DNN 6.2 doesn't send emails online. The SMTP appears not to function. The thing is that when I try to send an email locally through 127.0.0.1, It shows me that the email was sent successfully in neptune (SMTP local server). But when I try to send it when my site is online, no message appears and the emails and also the test smtp settings button don't send anything. My website is running in windows azure, don't know if it has something relative to the cause of the problem. I also use the dnn quick form (free version) module and it also appears no to send any emails. Thanks for the help in advance.

which smtp server do you try to use in your production environment, did you validate the server account working properly from outside DNN?

Thanks Sebatian for your reply. I use pod51018.outlook.com SMTP Server in production enviroment, and there is other sites of the company that are actually working using the same SMTP Server, with the same credentials that I give in DNN SMTP Server settings in the host setting panel. But the thing is the DNN testing buttom doesn't show a confirm message and I also using quick form that is a module but neither of those can send emails. I really appreciate if you could help me solve this problem.

Are the other sites on Azure? Well I just tried telnet to port 25 and it connected. So Iguess it has to be your settings, or some firewall.

Best wishes,

Yes the others sites are on Azure. Don't know if it is the settings configuration, because I can't even get a notification telling me if the message was send or no, or the There has been an error trying to send the test email message, that shows the testing buttom. Those messages appears only when I use my site locally, but when is in production enviroment on Azure those messages don't appears and the emails are not send. Is that a bug or a javascript problem ?. I really need some help with that.
