I have source version of DNNArticle 8.9.0 module. But for some reason when I installed to DNN 6.2 professinal version, I can not access module settings and links are disabled.

does anybody knows version 8.9.0 is compatible with DNN 6.2 or I need to upgrade the module to latest version 9.8.

Thanks.

DNNArticle is a 3rd party module and not supported from DotNetNuker Community.  You should contact the vendor for support.

Basicly source packages are not ready to install as a module, it have to installed on a developement environment and a new install package have to be compiled before it could be work.

Thanks Matthias for your answer.

Basically I have installed source as an extension and then open the website to visual studio and compile the code without any error but  still module is not working.

However I will try to contact DNNArticle support team.

On compile on your5 local maschine as a release it should create a new install package.  Uste this install package for a new or upgrade install on extentions on your hsted instance.  If it still not worked it could be that the SqlDataProvider are not well formed (only if you have a other databaseOwner as 'dbo' or using an objectQualifier) or any other issues are on the code.

Hello,

The DNNArticle 8.9 cannot work properly with DNN 6.2. Please upgrade to the newest version 9.8: http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/product-details/dnnarticle-98 .
