I am wondering if it's possible to allow members of a group to administer itself. For example say on my site I have the default Registered Users group, Then I have 2 further groups I have set up called SiteMembers and Admins. Is it possible for the members of the Admin group to see only the members of the SiteMembers group and to if needed remove any of those member from the SiteMembers group?

Also would it be possible for any member of the Admin group to see the full directory of everyone registered on the site and give the Admins group the ability to add anyone to the SiteMembers group?

I hope this makes sense and Thanks in advance.

no, that would violate the security model where only admin/host users can administrate roles - you could of course build your own module and use the rolecontroller API to deliver that functionality.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I wouldn't even know where to start to create my own module.
