I've been trying to use the forum HTML editor image button to add screen shots to my posts.

  1.  It's painfully slow to load the popup image screen.
  2. When it finally opens, the key buttons to add images are disabled.

So I can't add images. Is this by design or a bug?

try installing CKEditor provider (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com). If the performance issue persists, it is a core issue (file system), otherwise an issue of document manager for Rad Editor.

I was actually refering to poor performance of http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F..., not my own DNN sites.

Please note, that this site uses the sunsetted core forum, which is no longer be modified or tuned for performance and will soon be replaced by recently released Active Forum.
