I am thinking on advertising my site here on DotNetNuke.com, and I understand that the lowest price to do that is 400$ for gold benefactor. The thing is that I earn such an amount in about 1 year of running the site - What I want to ask is if any of you that advertised here using gold benefactor have seen a dramatic increase in traffic to their sites.

Hmmm - I think it depends on WHAT you are advertising - I have bought some advertising space (you may have seen it on the right here) and it has not generated nearly enough hits to be worth it (about 200 for 3 weeks so far) - I get a LOT more from Google Ads or banner ads on other sites for a lot cheaper.

I do find that being listed as a Gold Benefactor does generate quite bit of traffic - so I would recommend this, but it depends on such a variety of things, such as your target market, content etc - very hard to say!

Have a look on the Smart-Thinker home page if you want some good advertising by the way - we get a lot of DNN specific traffic a day and are running some specials.
