I'm looking to test different versions of pages, including my home page, so I can optimize my content and maximize lead conversions. Does anyone have suggestions on how to do this technically? For example, how do I greet people with  two different home pages? I guess I could create a mirror site on a subdomain and re-direct traffic via ads, but it seems like there must be a better way.

Best regards,

Meredith

would you mind to provide more details about your needs - how do you want to switch between page versions? you may always clone a page and enable/disable each one manually or by date.

Google Experiments + the multi-lingual capabilities of DNN makes for a nice way of setting up in-site and even in-page A/B/C/D.... testing. But like *every* thing else with websites, it's never as quick as people seem to think it should be. I bank on a full day to set up, whereas many clients seem to think it should be about an hour to do!

I keep thinking I should write a module for this, but never seem to quite get the time. TBH you should only do 3 or 4 experiments at a time to get the best data. I've seen people do full site splits and it gets real messy real quick.

I'll help out in the development of such a tool if you desire it.  I'm working on a "Customer Tracking" module now that seems like it would connect perfectly with this or be a great extension of.  Contact me if you want to pursue this.
