Does anyone have experience with what to look for to help determine whether a third-party Module suppports IModuleListener?

I want to add a Module of mine to a page already populated with Modules that communicate amongst themselves. I was hoping to add an IModuleListener Module I develop to the page and be able to catch the other IModuleCommunicator events on the page.

I and a buddy of mine don't seem to be able to get it working.

Any nuggets of wisdom in this area would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
