Hi,

I’m looking at .netNuke and wondering if I can assign CMS administrators permission levels. For instance I want a National Admin with full rights to all sections/ pages, but I want then to have 2-8 state admins, that only look after theirs state pages, and can not modify any other parts.

Is this possible, I’m sure it is, but I’m having a little trouble finding exact documentation on this.

Yes this is possible

You would need to create Security Roles (Admin > Security Roles) for each State (say: "[State Name] Administrators"). Then on the state-specific pages, go to Settings (in Page Functions at the top of the page) and give that role the "Edit Page" permission. National Admins can just use the built in Administrators role which gives Edit permission to all pages. Once your roles are set up, just assign the users to the correct Role and you should have the permission levels you want.
