Hai,

When ever we creating module in dnn it is defaultly creating files in app_code & in desktopmodule , it is posible to create modules only with desktopmodules files.

Yess this is possible, but you will lose alot of possibilities. The advanced functionality of DNN requires a business controller class, that implements some interfaces. Obvious if you need database access you need at at least the controller class togheter with the DAL+ functions or the classic set-up: controller, abstract provider + concrete provider

If you are only writing a new frontend to existing DNN controller classes you can get   away with only the ASCX file

I regulary do this to make simpler control panels for less experienced admin's (or highjacking the HTML/Text controller business layer for static content modules)


Edit your Skin.xml and Container.xml files with:
