Hello. We are working in a webpage with DNN, and our project needs some modifications in Social Groups module. We needed that our private groups can be searched if the creator wants it, so we have done modifications in DB, Library package and Groups package. You can see this modifications in our Github account

We have done it as a Fork of DNN official repository, in v7.3.2 Release branch. It has some errors in the views at the time of check and uncheck the options when a user creates or edits a group, but we're trying to solve it. We need develop too a module to send  invitations to join in a group that can't be searched

If you think that is a good idea we would like that, in a next version of DNN, this modification is included. What do you think?

DNN accepts pull requests, see http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... -I recommend starting small (i.e. with your initial change) to get used to the process. As to the module, if something is of obvious value we might add it to DNN, but in general we try to avoid bloating the project with lots of small modules. You're probably better off publishing it as a Forge project - http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forge
