I have DNN 6.2 up and running but someone keeps deleting my sitemap.xml and replacing with sitemap.html which looks to be a fake retail site. So I am being hacked but how... I changed my FTP passwords and upgraded some of my extensions but it has happened again. Is the method of the hack a known approach? If so, what can I stop it happening again?

Any help would be warmly welcome.

Matt

6.2.0 is a very old version with a number of known (and fixed) security issues - i would suggest your first thing to do is upgrade to a more recent version (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/platform/m...) - i would also suggest you check your IIS logs to see when the html file is created (or first accessed) in case it's an issue in a 3rd party module

Matt, if there is an option for hackers to upload files, please make sure, there is no FCKEditor Provider listed still and make sure, Content of /Providers/htmleditorproviders/fck has been deleted!
