Hi,

Requirements:

  1. My main website is developed in C#.Net 32-bit.
  2. I want my Pre-Login static pages to be served using DNN.
  3. Rest all other business and Post-Login use cases will be served by my .Net application.

What I have done:

  1. I setup a DNN instance in the same Application Pool in which my application is running.
  2. That DNN instance is running as a separate application under following URL: mysite.com/cms
  3. As soon as a page get created on DNN, I write a Re-Write rule for that page. For instance:
    • mysite.com/cms/page -> mysite.com/page
  4. Homepage of my website is also served from DNN.

Problems:

  1. Very often, at random places in DNN's code System.OutOfMemoryException exception is thrown and the AppPool crashes and every user gets 503 Service Unavailable page.
  2. Then I have to manually re-cycle the AppPool and site goes live again.
  3. The memory usage of IIS Worker process w3p.exe suddenly shoots up to 3GB at that time.

Any solution to these problems or any other workaround for my Use Cases?
