 Hello all member!

Is there a way to marge / migrate the content from one server to another? I have a stage / dev server and live server. the client has made a lot of changes to both the stage and the live server. I was just wondering if there is a way to just merge/migrate the content changes from stage to live? or do I need to manually make the changes to live server?

Thank You Very much!

Hi David,

Have a look at this wiki :

http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/upgrading-dotnetnuke#8cddf7cd-aed6-4e82-add9-491ab500da1c

Look t the section on duplicating a site and follow the instructions, that will help you to move the install from 1 server to another.

There is also a module called Evotiva Backup which you can use, we use it all the time and works great for backing up our install.

Once you have backed up the install you should be able to retsore it on another server without problems.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Geoff
