I have checked Edit in Control Panel Mode in Usability settings and selected "stay in edit mode" in edit page. Still if I use different browser, the "stay in edit mode" in edit Page is not selected. My concern is that as a registered  user, he/she will not know to select "stay in edit mode" to save or update the record. Is there anyway that the selection is always "stay in edit mode" when a user login so that a user will not be puzzled that the record is not saved?

Thanks

Hy

you shouldn't Need this Option to update Content of a module - more relevant is "remember me" Option during Login - otherwise the session will terminate after 20 min without page call and subsequent save will fail.

Sebastian,

I still got the prompt when I pressed Save if I did not check 'stay in edit mode".

Thanks
