Yay... Take Me to the Community!

I'm in the process of creating a bunch of sites at the moment, and three out of my four current projects will use DNN. I had some questions based on what I see happening here on this site particularly (I can't seem to find detectors of other DNN sites on the web off hand). One of my sites; a technical community ... I'd also like it to be a huge engagement-based site. Is there a way to achieve gamification (points system, privileges

, likes, and so on? I know that the Active Social profile sort of works, though I've never been able to figure it out) without the use of EVOQ? I'm sure there are many in this situation ... considering even if we could indeed afford EVOQ Engage, not sure whether the cost would be justifiable even so. Besides, this is a community site, not a for-profit one.

Active Social Profile, Journal, Membership and Groups are now part of DNN Core Framework and included in DNN free edition.
Scott McCulloch just presented his solution for Gaminfication, which he promised to put on GitHub or Codeplex within the next weeks.
A couple of 3rd Party modules integrate with Journal, Groups and Profile (including Digital File Management in DNN).
Modules like Reports can be configured to work properly on Profile pages and Groups pages.

the session page is http://dnn-connect.org/events/2016/se..., as far as I can see, the presentation is not online yet. Scott is still in Europe, it might take a couple of days, until he finds time to take care of it.

Cheers from Germany,

Awesome. I'll be keeping an eye out, for if that is what I think it is, then, that should save our community tons of work.
