Hi!

We are a software company that manages around 120+ DNN sites on one of our servers.

We bump into the same scenario every other month where we need to update an entire file or change a small part of a css file on a number of those sites (say 20-30 of them). Right now we are doing it "by hand", one site at the time, but that is time consuming and inefficient.

Do you guys know of some tool or suite that might work with these requirements?

The idea is to propagate these changes as fast and programmatically as possible.

Thanks!
Manuel

Manuel,

That is a perfect use case for PowerShell.  You can easily write a script which will take a zip file and push the files in that zip onto multiple servers. I have automated many DNN management tasks using PowerShell and it makes administering servers so much easier.
